The best and worst moment of my life

There I was, back in 2016. I had just had a major loss, one that had turned my whole world upside down temporarily, but I was happy. As usual, I just did what I wanted to do every day and left it at that. I logged into my first Kickstarter when I got home from the store.

A little history. I had been studying Kickstarter for at least four years, trying to see where I could make my move. But here it was: my first try. Finished. I had finally done it. I had made my first Kickstarter and it was live. It had been approved by the Kickstarter staff without much time delay. When I logged in, I looked at the views and I saw that there were 7,000.

Yes, the Kickstarter had garnered 7,000 views in less than a week. Eventually, I found out that the Kickstarter had garnered millions of views worldwide. I had no product, no service, and no SAAS. All I had was a few inklings and a built-in webcam.

Needless to say, 98 percent of the views were negative. But it was the happiest moment in my life up until that point. Logging into Youtube and seeing basically a quarter of a million viewers gathering from all across the globe on one Youtube channel just to see something that I had created for free on my HP Envy DV6 with my freakishly expensive $55 monthy Adobe subscription. In addition to a $200 graphics tablet which I subsequently broke in the shower.

Having someone look at something that I made and say anything about it was the best feeling I had ever had in my life. Nothing before or since has touched me in quite the same way. I loved every minute of it. It was worth it. I'm so happy that I wrote this.
