Best Workplaces is back for 2024
Best Workplaces in Travel
Be named as one of the best workplaces in travel, by those who really know you, your employees.
Our annual employee survey and awards officially opened for entries on Monday 4th of December and many travel companies have already taken advantage of our early bird discount until 31st December! If you're not already in the know, Best Workplaces in Travel provides top travel companies with the most crucial employee insights about key issues and drivers for people working in the travel industry.
Our awards are also an industry event not to be missed with the chance to celebrate the best performers across the travel sector. We introduced this people initiative two years ago with a view to help drive employee engagement, share insights and showcase the travel industry as an aspirational workplace. Our survey remains the only employee engagement survey dedicated to the travel industry and is the only one which asks its employees what's important to them first and foremost, using values elicitation technology powered by our tech partner, Korero. Over 5000 employees rated their employer as to how they perform in these areas, plus answered several killer questions, including an Employer Net Promoter Score (eNPS).
Enter now to take advantage of early bird discount
To secure the early bird discount, all you need to do is complete the entry process - that's select your category and make payment. You'll then have until 3 May to complete your survey.
Which companies featured in Best Workplaces in Travel 2023?
This year we recognised and announced the Top 25 travel companies, with the winners across each category awarded to Panache Cruises, Easyjet Holidays and Jet2Holidays. We also announced the Happiest Workplace in Travel, awarded to Santa Claus Trips (we bet they are busy this month!)
A quote from Brian Young, MD, G Adventures
"These insights from our team are so valuable for us as a business. We constantly strive to ensure we are engaging with the team on what matters most to them and the insights add another layer. We will be entering again, and will work hard to move up the chart!"

?What's in store for 2024? We're launching new categories including Micro, for companies with 10 to 19 employees and new awards to recognise companies who are raising the bar when it comes to equitability, wellbeing, and performance recognition. We're also increasing the list of Best Workplaces to encourage entries from the car rental, expedition cruise and inbound operators sectors.
We love awards! In Q4, we were shortlisted as a finalist for the Travolution Start Up & Innovative Award and the John Hayes Entrepreneur Award by TTG Media. Although we didn't take home the awards this year, we are honoured at being shortlisted for such prestigious awards, and growing this great people initiative y-o-y to benefit the travel industry. We, more than anybody, appreciate that winning is undoubtedly a fantastic achievement, however striving for success teaches us perseverance, resilience, teamwork, and the importance of continuous improvement. A reward for all our hard work.
A huge thanks to the tech team Korero and workplace culture experts, Hendrick & Hyde for providing their tech, expertise, and support. And thanks to our sponsor partners and brand ambassadors - everybody who has helped get us to where we are. Couldn't do it without your support. Oh, and not forgetting that we have also just finished an exciting re branding project, together with a new website, which we have launched today. We're looking great, feeling refreshed and very much focused for 2024.
