The Best Ways to Find Love During Covid-19

We wrote the definitive blogs on where to meet people. Back in the day. During the Pre-Covid ERA.

A reader from Ohio said ‘It was the best piece I’ve ever read on the topic.’ YAY! Nailed it! The Best Places to Meet Women? Think out of the box….and, Men, too!

Well, that was then, this is NOW. What should I do?

First…Le Masque. Make the best first impression.

We still have only one chance to make the best first impression. That is a constant. Still, try to look your best during this shit time, especially if you want to meet people. You may even feel better about yourself. Self-esteem is free.

It's the truth: The best defense is a good offense

Your mask is a reflection of you. Make it your best.

Spruce up your wardrobe with interesting masks. We are wearing them every single day. Non-stop. Might as well make them a fashion statement.

Do you really think someone is going to remark on the blue “medical” mask? Maybe, when you are playing doctor…we are just trying to help you get there.

I receive compliments nearly every time I wear my cool masks. You certainly can DIY. Or, just spend a few bucks. This is the easiest thing.

Remark on them. Say, “Nice mask!” “Where did you get that mask?” “Can you please send me the info on where I can get one?” Think. This is the easiest way to flirt. It also makes people feel GOOD. ????????Oh, and hey, you just got their digits. ??

Dress decently – presentable, wear a nice mask, fix your hair and if you wear it, do your eye makeup.

Are you being too judgey? We think not. Be friendly, look your best to people and see for yourself. You may be pleasantly surprised. Give it a go. Look your best. Walk your ass off. Sport an interesting mask.

#2: The hell with Covid fatigue. Say, “G’Day, Mate!

Get out there. These boots are made for walking. Move your booty. Then, greet everyone, unless they appear to be on the phone or engaged in a conversation.

There are so many awesome added benefits too: exercise, fresh air, negative ions, Vitamin D. Plus, it helps keep you young.

Walk your dog. Or someone else’s. The leash makes social distancing a breeze! Dog’s are attention grabbers and easy conversation starters. My friend said, “Wow. I’ve got to get a dog. It’s a magnet for meeting people.”

What's the very best way to initiate conversation with someone you like?

We’ve published that blog ????, too. ??However, here’s a primer. Say, “Good morning!,” “Good evening,” “Good afternoon,” or even, “Hello!” If you are lucky, you may get a “Hi” back. Or, then some.

Sienna Sinclaire says, “Men are all around...open your eyes and be more available...be open…when someone even says ‘Hi’…and allowing someone to talk to you.

If they don’t reply, don’t let it get you down. Maybe they didn’t hear you; perhaps, they are assholes.

An easy turn on: make eye contact & smile

Even wearing a mask, you can tell when people are smiling. Ronald E Riggio Ph.D. says, “the eyes have it” in his article on the Secret Powers of Eye Contact.

My friend recently left the Bay Area, and returned to his Mid-Western roots. Why? Brain damage. jk. He says everyone there says “Hi.”

In Tahoe, everyone either says “Hi” or does the royal wave. It’s so nice. I come home and say “Hello” and it’s more like, “Fuck off,” but screw ‘em. Let’s start a movement. Mix things up.

Here’s another deep dark secret: Call someone and ask them out.

What a novel concept! & Here’s how it’s done: how to ask someone on a date (PS: It's the same way to score a business meeting).
