Best Way to Get Coaching Clients

Quick story - I was vacay'ing in the Bahamas when we were caught in a rain storm. My hubby, my daughter, and I stood under a store awning to wait out the rain. A woman decided to join us.

• Me smiling - It doesn't look like it'll rain too much longer.
• Stranger - Yeah, I don't think so either. I'm traveling with a good friend of mine. We were supposed to meet near here so I hope he's making his way over.
• Me - Oh! That's fun to travel with your friend. Do you mind me asking where you're visiting from?

After chatting for 15-20 minutes, I found out her name was Kim from North Carolina. She and her friend both beat cancer and this trip was in celebration. How awesome! My husband on the other hand - "Why do you always have to talk to strangers?!"

• Go on live, host workshops, or guest speak to engage in conversations with new people.
• Attend networking events or masterminds to introduce yourself and meet others.
• Ask your network (clients, coaches, colleagues) to make introductions for you to meet other awesome people.
• Learn how to ask genuine questions to truly learn about the other person.
• Active listening! Not listening to respond.
• Embracing that each conversation with a new person can open doors for you and create relationships that you may have never been able to before. Positive intention yall!
