Best sector for placement after lock down in India

Though there are so many industry experts are pretending next few years are going to be very tough for economy almost 50% jobs may be lost in coming few months but I think in this current situation India has an opportunity to attract huge foreign investment especially in the sector of healthcare, online retail, IT, Online education and Training, Agriculture. Indian government has to flexible on its FDI’s policies, foster the environment of trust.

 If we talk about skill development there are following sectors where I believe we will be able to place our candidate, just we need to train accordingly:

1-   Healthcare

It will be most demanding sector. If we talk about entry level jobs there will be huge demand in BSPA and Pharmacy related job rolls etc. 

2-   Information Technologies

This sector will be offering good job opportunities during this tough time. There also will be huge demand in IT enable services related jobs and also will be preferred sector by newly graduated students as work from home is viable option for IT sector.

3-  Fumigation

It is something we hardly heard just few days back but lots of jobs are expected in coming days. Every hospital, Malls, offices, Airports, Railway, etc.  will be hiring fumigation experts. 

4-   Retail/online sales/home delivery

Retail is the sector severely hit by this deadly corona virus but in next one to two months sector will be revived. Retail industry will not be same as it was before corona virus pandemic. Most of the retail companies will be shifting in to home delivery model and we can also see big brands will be selling their products on decorated moving vans.

5-   Warehouse

Warehouse sector may see positive move in next 2 to 3 months. And lots of new entry level jobs will be created. Many big and small brands may close their operations from Malls and shift to warehouse and operate on home delivery model only.

 6-   Agriculture and related industry

Lots of entry level jobs will be created by agriculture, dairy and related industry. Most of the blue-collar workers has already shifted or will be shifted just after the lockdown opens. It will have positive impact on India rural economic growth.

7- Training and Education/Online learning apps

Since less jobs will be available for the students graduating this year because of corona virus pandemic. Most of the graduated students will go for higher education, short terms courses, preparation for competitive exams like SSC, Banking, etc. Most of the school students will prefer online tuition. Courses related to IT enable services also will be on demand as those 12th pass candidates usually join the retail sector will prefer BPO.
