The other part is simple — Amazon knows how to design product pages that attract shoppers and cause them to convert.
Nir Eyal’s Hooked model provides a great explanation for why Amazon’s product pages work so well. There’s a trigger that grabs the customer’s attention and compels the customer to act. The action is rewarded and then followed by a request.?
Repeating this process in product page design hooks the customer.
