BUILD A SOLID CLIENT RELATIONSHIP


Being proactive with client communications forms a solid foundation for a successful relationship. A face-to-face meeting, or a phone call, can go a long way in building a strong bond and create a solid understanding together. By listening to the client, you will get to know the industry and organisation, from which you can form the right questions to help develop their brand.


Treat every client like your most Important one, be patient and make sure to actively listen to them and their plans. It’s okay to challenge their thinking and by reading in between the lines through purposeful questions, leading to more successful results. Build rapport with your client as this will enable you to build a close relationship, going above and beyond to achieve a successful outcome for them.

PLAN PROJECTS EFFECTIVELY


Planning is key to ensuring that a project is successfully delivered, resulting in a happy client. By taking steps to plan your project, you can ensure that it is delivered on time, on budget and meets business objectives.


By gathering key information and setting out planned objectives, a strategy can then be created to enable you to implement your proposed plan of action. Make sure to keep your client ‘in the loop’ throughout the progress of the project, this will reassure your client, further strengthening your relationship.


This open dialogue also gives the client an opportunity to give feedback in a constructive way and gives them additional value. Its professional approach to problem solving and by proactively seeking feedback, the client will feel more involved and valued with an increased amount of trust. This will lay the groundwork for the client to feel confident to return with further projects.
