Leader, do you have “”all the pieces together” in the puzzle of your life, mission, and organization for 2019? I’m learning the biggest "piece of the puzzle" I need in order to be most effective and centered in my life is PEACE. Let me describe what I consider peace.
Peace within myself. Peace that gives me a secure mindset, despite the noise and voices of doubt and fear shouting me back and down. Peace within my purpose and mission. Peace as the anchor to keep me steady and committed to the call and goal ahead. Peace in and through tough times. Peace as the anchor of my spirit and source of fortitude when the storms of life come crashing in and sometimes run over me. Peace knowing I’m headed in the right direction. Peace that drives me forward, despite the uncertainties in my face, remembering the ultimate purpose and goal of my life and mission. I've discovered this peace is the best piece to the puzzle to help me successfully navigate and lead myself and others through life.
I hope you find the true PEACE that sets you free to soar in 2019!
Lead on!

5 年As a designer and artist, my best creativity comes when I am at the pinnacle of peace. Another example is when I am playing drums in our Praise Band at church, I have found that when my main focus is on God, His goodness, The Ultimate Peace that Christ does bring... like I imagine myself " keeping time with Gods heartbeat"... it all flows way better. I am reminded of this when I read this article. Yes leaders need to be at peace to properly lead. Great article here. Fabulous coaching!

5 年Having peace as a leader can be a challenge - especially since many times a leader has to make choices that are not popular. Even the greatest leaders can feel like an imposter sometimes. Great article, Chad.
