Koji Restaurant Teppan Yaki by AKA - Atsushi Kitagawara Architects
This teppanyaki restaurant with the traditional “Roji” has a mix between the urban space of Paris and the inner Japanese architecture. The goal of AKA - Atsushi Kitagawara Architects was to frame the traditional Japanese architecture into a contemporary space.
The space has some of the most important characteristics of Japanese architecture such as the permeability of light, the rich emptiness of space, and flexibility.

Piada by Masquespacio
If there’s anything that marks the identity of this restaurant is the variety of textures and colors. Piada by Masquespacio is the reinterpretation of aesthetics of the traditional (Italian) bars through the use of gold, arches, and columns. Adding to this, there’s also a biophilic design touch that shows the healthy food concept of Piada’s.
The pastel hues that are so characteristic of this restaurant give a young and vivid touch to the space. Although the wooden elements contrast with the velvet details together they make the interior warmer and cozier.
The Arena– Papi Restaurant by Neri&Hu
This restaurant design project by Neri&Hu is the perfect example of beauty being on the simplest details. During The Arena’s restaurant dismantling phase, beautiful details of bare materials were revealed.
Every single material was examined and some of them like the brick walls, steel, and brick columns were preserved and integrated into the design. All of this took place in one of the most aesthetics and amazing restaurant designs in France.
