Stay at Godric’s Hollow

Why not journey back to where it all began by visiting the home of Harry’s parents in Suffolk? The Hogwarts Express is said to be one of the greatest railway journeys in the world! Visitors board the luxurious steam train at Fort William and journey through several Scottish Lochs before reaching Mallaig, which is near Ben Nevis. During your journey, you will pass over the tremendous Glenfinnan viaduct, which was used as the bridge to Hogwarts in the movies. You will also stop near Glen Coe which was the location of Hagrid’s hut and the entrance to Hogwarts castle. A ride aboard the Hogwarts Express will feel like you have stepped straight into a movie.

If you have ever been interested in the magic behind the screens of Harry Potter, you must see the Warner Brothers Studio Tour ‘The Making of Harry Potter’. This is a tour like no other that gives you full access to the creation of the nation's favourite films. During the tour, guests are invited to delight in original sets, props, and costumes. It will really feel like you are part of the film! 

One of the best sets to visit on the tour is the Great Hall. Here, you will be able to walk in the steps of your favourite characters and relive some of the film's most iconic scenes. You can also explore the Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley, and Platform 9 ?.

For those tech wizards out there, the Warner Brothers Tour lets you delve into the creation of many of the magical props and scenes that were used in the films. Ever wondered how Harry managed to disappear under his cloak of invisibility?
