Best Gluten-Free Pizza Crust Recipe
1 ? cups warm water
1 tsp raw sugar or honey
1 tbsp yeast
2 tbsp olive oil
1 ? cups rice flour
? cup tapioca starch??????????????
1 ? tsp guar gum
1 ? tsp sea salt
3 tbsp whole psyllium husks
Optional: sprinkle of dried basil or oregano
Additional rice flour for kneading
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425oF (don’t use the convection feature).
Combine water and raw sugar, then sprinkle yeast over the surface.? Let stand for 2 to 5 minutes.
Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl.? Pour in yeast mixture and olive oil.? Mix well.? Let stand for a few minutes to allow the moisture to be absorbed.
Sprinkle the countertop with rice flour and turn the dough onto the floured counter.? Knead, adding additional rice flour, if necessary, for a few minutes.
Press onto an oiled pizza pan or cookie sheet, top with pizza toppings, using almond, rice, or soy cheese rather than mozzarella.
Bake on the bottom rack of your oven for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the crust is lightly browned and stiff enough to lift off the pan with a spatula.

Reheating the Best Gluten-Free Pizza Crust
To reheat this gluten-free pizza or pizza-bread (without toppings), place in an oven or air fryer for a few minutes at 350oF or 400oF to keep the crust crunchy (don’t use a microwave).
