The Best Franchises aren't 'SEXY'

"I can't wait until I have my own janitor service!"

That is not a phrase heard at career day. Not many aspiring business owners start out dreaming of a building maintenance business. But the smart ones figure out quickly that the best path to a profitable business is to identify a need and provide a product or service to fill that need. The umbrella term "Business Services" is the second fastest growing (and the second largest) category of franchises today. The 2017 Top Franchises from Entrepreneur's Franchise 500 List includes dozens of business Services opportunities.

Shipping & packing, staffing, taxes, imaging & copy services, office space, computer assistance, and building maintenance are few of the growing sectors.

As small businesses grow, so does the need for companies that can service them. There are 68,000 businesses in Columbus and 108,000 in Franklin County! Someone needs to make their signs and clean the floors and paint the walls. That is where the owner of a business service franchise comes in.
