This is the BEST feature that Boomi released in the last years!

Running processes in Bridge Mode provides a huge performance boost, especially for Atoms and Molecule Nodes that have low quality Disk storage.

Note: The following is my own independent viewpoint as a result of my tests and experience. If you wold like to see vendor’s viewpoint, you can find it here.

I consider the Bridge Mode (process execution) is a huge leap forward for the Boomi product.

In my test, it provides ~ 300% #performance increase, compared to General Mode, by significantly reducing the Disk IO.

One other huge benefit is that the executions running in Bridge Mode are not limited to 30 seconds as imposed on Low Latency executions.

A big thank you goes out to the Boomi Developers that delivered this feature and to Simone P. who pushed hard to make this a reality.

By default, Bridge Mode is a feature available only for Listener Processes.
