Best Easy Day Hikes Black Hills Country, Second Edition available now

ESSEX, CONN. – Falcon Guides is proud to announce the release of Best Easy Day Hikes Black Hills Country, Second Edition by Hot Springs, South Dakota-based author Marcus Heerdt. The book was released on June 1, 2022.

The guidebook features concise descriptions and detailed maps for 22 easy-to-follow trails in the Black Hills region of South Dakota and Wyoming that allow hikers of all levels to enjoy beautiful views, get fit in the outdoors, and learn about the region’s history.

This is Heerdt’s second Black Hills hiking guide, as Hiking the Black Hills Country, Third Edition was released in the summer of 2021 and to date has sold more than 2,000 copies.

A hiking guide to the entire state is also in the works. Hiking South Dakota: A Guide to the State’s Greatest Hiking Adventures is scheduled to be released in the spring of 2024.
