The Okinawa Institute for Science and Technology is a leading tech university in Japan (and the world, for that matter). OIST hosts a yearly accelerator program for deeptech startup founders, with amazing support for the best teams:

• ≈ $ 65.000 (equivalent in ￥) non-dilutive funding (that's complicated language for 'gift');
• One year office space on the OIST campus;
• Access to OIST research facilities;
• Support for incorporating your business in Okinawa;
• Two week OIST Campus bootcamp (1-14 December) with travel cost covered;
• Three online entrepreneurship classes (in September).
