The best COVID-19 advice I have for you right now...

Help small biz owners double revenue in 6-12 months by tweaking strategy, interpersonal communication, and emotional mindset | 18-year Business Coach, Emotion & Energy Healing Master
While I've been getting a ton of emails on the subject of coronavirus, I had not been posting my thoughts, take, advice, etc.
That's because I was telling myself I don't feel qualified from a health or disease perspective to give advice on this.
Ok, that's not exactly true, since I do help my clients with mindset, emotional and energetic health all the time, including in these times. And emotional, mindset and energetic health is what will keep us strong right now.
But what had been stopping me is that I had been experiencing what you may be as well:
- fear
- weariness
- uncertainty
- concern
- apprehension
...and so much more.
Things I help my clients blast through, but I was finding myself stuck with them. We all get stuck now and then.
Last Friday evening, I was sitting in my car for an hour outside the gym.
Thinking to myself:
"Do I go in? Is it safe? What are the risks? How badly do I need to go? Should I do some other exercise at home instead? How crowded will it be? Can I wipe off all the equipment well enough to be safe? Will I be far enough away from others....."
...for literally an hour, while also procrastinating and distracting myself with Facebook and email on my phone.
Exhausting.
I did go in, and I enjoyed my workout since it had been over a month as I've been recovering from a foot injury from one of my passions - volleyball!
But, wow, what an ordeal just to make a simple decision about a moment in my life.
So, given that, here's my advice:
During this time, you may be home more than you are used to. You may be "stuck" making some very tough decisions that effect the lives of your family, staff, clients, customers, patients, and yourself. You may be exhausted from all the worry or overwhelm, or completely bored with not much to do.
Whatever your situation is, I do recommend the following:
- Make time for yourself
- Do some self-care in whatever form is appropriate and safe
- Exercise and get fresh air
- Chat with friends whom you haven't connected with in a long time
- Get plenty of rest and also plenty of vigorous activity
- Try some new foods, hobbies or interests that have been in the back of your mind
- Spend some time creating or readjusting business, professional or personal goals...
Where do you want to be in three months? Six months? A year?
When this all passes, how do you want to emerge as a new, improved you?
Along the same lines, what do you want for your family? What do you want the people you care about to learn from all this? How do you want them to be effected and have grown?
What can you put in place now to start down your improvement path?
How can you use this unique time to prepare and work on your newer, bigger and better reality?
And how can you experience more love and joy through this process?
All the best,
Jason
