Driving Fort Lauderdale’s strong performance in these rankings is the city’s placement as:
“Beyond tourism…job growth here is also driven by numerous flexible work-friendly industries, like finance and a growing tech sector.”
Florida is Leading the Way
The State of Florida outshined its Sun Belt peers in this study given that four of the top ten cities in the South were from the state. Compared to the entire country, no other state had as many cities ranked in the top 20 as Florida.
Florida continues to reinforce its status as a premier place to live, work, and do business. Whether working in traditional office, co-working spaces, or remotely, the State and its biggest cities are cementing their role as major economic engines.
