The Best Career Advice Tip

The Best Career Advice Tip

Are you dissatisfied with your current salary? Struggling to maintain long-term motivation in your job? Feeling disillusioned with your boss? Uncertain about your path to promotion? Even if everything seems to be going well, do you still experience a lingering sense of anxiety about the trajectory of your career? ????

If any of these resonate with you, it's time to consider whether your focus is predominantly centered on yourself. One of the most valuable pieces of advice I received from my esteemed master coach was this: ??

"The more you concentrate on your own world, concerns and issues, the more magnified your problems become. However, when you shift your attention to serving others, you'll witness your life and career flourish and expand." ????

Initially, I struggled to grasp the depth of this wisdom.

Nevertheless I saw that she was a shining example of being successful in all areas so I decided to follow her guidance. I started dedicating my time and energy to assisting others in their career journeys—offering guidance on breaking into the field of customer success, cultivating effective leadership skills, enhancing visibility and influence in the workplace. I then expanded my coaching to encompass fitness, and I even inspired people to embark on personal projects that have made a profound impact on thousands worldwide, within their workplaces, families, communities, and even entire countries. ????

For instance, one individual I had the privilege of working with established a charity focused on improving the mental, physical, and financial well-being of children and young people in her city. She recently organized an event that drew a crowd of 180 people, and she continues to follow up with breakout sessions and workshops. Not only has she achieved remarkable success as a customer success professional, but she has also emerged as a leader in her community. Her accomplishments and influence within the charity have spilled over into her confidence and effectiveness as a public speaker, further bolstering her customer success career. By finding her purpose, she ignited a chain reaction helped me to reinforce mine. My life is now filled with wonder and fulfilment. I recently founded my own business, have a growing client base, and became a first-time parent just a month ago, I also intend to return to executive leadership in the corporate world. ????

Today, I understand why my master coach emphasized the importance of focusing on others. Concentrating solely on yourself is a limited and small game in life. When you step outside your own world and dedicate yourself to serving others, you engage in a grander game—one that encompasses your networks, communities and company. Your bigger game involves transcending personal boundaries and immersing yourself in the lives of others. Master this larger game, and you'll find that all other aspects of your personal life and career will naturally fall into place. ????

What project do you aspire to create that will make a difference in the lives of others? In August, I'm launching a new program. Feel free to reach out to me via direct message if you wish to become part of something greater than yourself. ????

Remember, by unlocking your potential through serving others, you open the door to a remarkable journey of personal and professional growth. Together, let's make an impact that resonates far beyond our own limited lives. ???
