The best camera....

When I am asked to speak about photography, I always ask: "How many photographers are in the audience?" Rarely do many people raise they hands. Then I ask, "how many of you take photographs?" Almost every raises their hands. Getting paid for your photographs doesn't make you a photographer, taking photos does. The question is how serious are you about the photos you take?

I don't always have my camera with me but I usually have my phone. In 2010, the Wichita Falls froze over. All I had to capture this (in 13-degree temperatures) was my cell phone. This was shot with an iPhone 3 and edited with a 99 cent app. The best camera is the one you got in your hand. If you enjoy photography don't let not having a fancy dancy camera keep you from making beautiful stuff. The best camera is the one in your hand!
