Step 1. Identify A Market That is In High Demand
Business is simple.?
People want a thing.?You make it and you sell it.
If no one wants the thing? There are no customers.?
The problem that many solopreneurs and founders face is that they create their entire brand & business around a problem that no-one has but them.?That's a market of 1.
For example...
Imagine Sam the Solopreneur who creates a super specific AI app that combines sleep, diet, and exercise with work schedules.
It sounds cool, but it’s so niche that hardly anyone else feels they truly need it.
The total addressable market he has is so niche and so small that getting his solution in front of the customer will be nearly impossible.?
So we take the opposite approach...?
“What is in highest demand right now, and where does that market exist?”
For example, I chose Personal Branding and AI because of this right here:?
Google Trends shows you exactly how much demand there is for something, as well as if the demand for that thing is rising or falling.
You can see that both Personal Branding and AI are both on a high uptrend.
Now to find where this audience lives?
You take that keyword and go to Answer The Public.
"LinkedIn" is the only platform that appears 8 times, which means people want to know how to create a personal brand on LinkedIn more than any other platform, and therefore that's where the audience lives.
(Hence why I'm here writing to you!)
So before developing your business idea, first validate its demand using Google Trends and see where the audience lives using Answer The Public data.?
With a combination of those you, you're already ahead of 90% of people.
Step 2. Figure out the pain points of the top 1%
Alex Hormozi said this brutal truth about business a few months ago:
The problem I see with so many solopreneurs and founders, especially on LinkedIn, is that they are selling a low-cost product to a low-budget customer.?
This means...
And we can’t blame them either.?
To them??
Your $500/mth product/service might be 50% of their entire monthly business spend, and therefore it feels like a high-risk, and so they demand so much more from you.?
So again, we take the opposite approach.?
“Create a higher-cost product to a high-budget customer”??
This means...
Because for them?
Your $5000/mth product/service might be only 5% of their entire monthly business spend, and the potential upside from that 5% investment is so much more than the potential loss, so it’s a no brainer.?
Now with that in mind, you need to figure out their main pain points.?
While this is going to be nuanced for all industries, here are the 3 most common ones that apply to all of them:?

Step 3. Create an Productized AI Service?
There is a lot of money pouring into AI, but here’s the problem.?
Most of the AI SaaS tools that are coming out are more like showcases, rather than solutions.?
Take for example Midjourney.?
While yes it can produce incredible images…
What problem is it actually solving? Can you define it?
It’s not really solving anything specific if you REALLY think about it.?
It’s just allowing creative people to use AI to generate better ideas faster.?
As a common user who’s not so into technology and art, it’s almost impossible to use.?

You as a creator come along and say “Hey, I can do that for you for $5,000 a month for 30 post a month, and it will be 100% in your voice and tone, and will get 10-20x the reach & engagement rate you were getting before”.?
You then utilise specialised AI tools YOURSELF like Writesonic and Jasper AI that not many know about, OR use better prompting within ChatGPT to get better outputs for them.?
This allows you to take on 5X more clients than before since you are now using AI to 5X your productivity and output. Which means you can take on 5 x $5,000 clients, and make $25,000 a month.?
Then, if you want to hire a few people to take over the process and you can scale further from there.
2) AI Design/Photography Agency
There are heaps of businesses that need regular graphic design work or image creation.?
Just look at solopreneur Brett Williams making $1M+ ARR with designjoy.co ??
These businesses try to use common tools like Midjourney or DALL.E etc. to generate their assets but fail to remain consistent and produce high quality. It still looks AI and a bit janky, and they decide AI is still not up to par with their needs.?
You as a designer/creative come along and say “Hey, I can do that for you for $5,000 a month, with your brand, elements, and vibe, with hyper-realistic and high-quality outputs that you can actually use for your brand and business. You can request as many as you want and they will get generated daily for you.”?
You resolve their pain points by using specialised tools like Ideogram and Flux LoRAs to generate the promised high-quality results. You then take on 10 clients at $5,000 each and make $50,000 a month subscription income.?
You scale further you simply hire a team, or automate your own processes with AI.
3) AI Automation Agency
There are endless businesses that want to automate their internal processes, but are bogged down by work to actually get the time to do it.?
These businesses try to use simple automations like Zapier AI to do the automations, but everything feels all over the place, and there’s no consistency across their company.?
You as a specialist come along and say “Hey, I can automate that entire process for you for $1000 upfront, with a $500/mth maintenance fee.”
You resolve their pain points, and 10X their business output with the automation by using more advanced tools like Make, Crew AI, or n8n. That one company alone needs to automate about 5 processes, so you make $5,000 upfront and then $2,500 maintenance fee which only take up 1 hour a week once it's been setup.?
That allows you to take on up to 20 clients at a time, and make $100,000 upfront and $50,000/mth.?
Again, to scale you can hire a team, or automate your own processes with AI.
These 3 examples are of course painting the best case scenario.
But even if you have 2 clients?
You're already living the "$10K/Mth" lifestyle, while working very little hours to do it.
As long as clients are happy with the quality of AI outputs, and they get the results?
Everyone wins!
In Summary
To bring it all together:
Of course there will also be a learning curve for you to adopt the more advanced and specialised AI tool sets that most people will not be willing to do.
But it’s precisely that gap that will make you all the profit that you’re looking for.?
If you adopt AI now before anyone else and become familiar with more advanced tools?
You’ll always be ahead of the pack and your output will always be of a higher quality.
And like in all new trends...The first-movers capture all the upside.?
Luckily with AI we are still in early adopter phase just now entering The Chasm
