during the COVID-19 pandemic Lock-down, Our children spend long hours in front of TVs series or PlayStation games devoid of useful values and goals whole days and they waste time In a useless manner. And no one of the parents know how can they guide their children to spend their time with Purposeful activities.
As one of the researchers in the field of developing targeted and entertaining educational programs for children, and as a trainer for more than 3000 children around the world. Recently I noticed that my classroom students talk in a way that is far from the good habits that we have always been brought up on, and also I noticed that they talk about murder topics or bad topics whose ideas are taken from the cartoon films (“cartoon series”) they watch or from immoral games. Which they spend a lot of time on without any supervision or knowledge of the parents. I found it my duty to address in my first article this about cartoon films (“animated series”) that are intended and enjoyable for your child that enhance the creative thinking of children, as well as moral principles and values that help the child coexist with his community in a way that helps him develop, grow and prosper.
Also dealing with the situation of the Arab community worldwide, we note that in the midst of the cycle of violence that the Arab world is witnessing, parents of children are searching for cartoon series that give peace to their children. Cartoon films that flourished in the 1970s and 1980s are remembered by many in the Arab world with nostalgia for values they fear will be lost. Many parents at this time are looking for meaningful cartoon films (value-based animation) that accompany children on interesting and enjoyable scientific adventures, as their children need a series of purposeful short films far from long cartoon films that only come in years once. Parents want lasting stories that live with their children that are purposeful, entertaining and educate them, and that inspire them with positive and useful ideas.
Out of this need, many countries in the Western world and in the Arab world, including the Gulf countries, have invested in purposeful cartoon works for children, as part of the initiative to create an enlightened and educated generation. The main characteristic of these films are the values and principles attached to the character of adventure and entertainment.
In this article, we see that after the cartoon films “The Secret Garden and the Covenant of Friends” cartoon series taken from international novels, we noticed that many purposeful companies have started making useful, fun and educational cartoon films for children, among which are available on famous platforms such as YouTube and Netflix. And Vimeo.

Everything’s Rosie (Arabic on Baraem TV)
Welcome to the Everything’s Rosie World
Everything’s Rosie is an animated preschool series with strong themes about friendship and imaginative play. Rosie and her friends enjoy being outside in their garden home where rolling hills, rock caves, and meandering streams set the scene for their adventures. (Of course, the talking trees and animals are a boon to the imagination as well.) The characters’ experiences teach them about getting along and solving problems (especially when mischievous Will stirs things up), and some stories also include more tangible learning content, as when Rosie and her friends investigate echoes and how they’re made. These gentle stories and characters are a fun pick for preschoolers.
Arabic content (Baraem TV)
These whimsical stories of friendship and adventure are well suited to preschoolers’ grasp of the world. Ribbon-haired Rosie is an endearing ringleader for her friends, who always enjoy getting pulled in to one or another of her escapades. Her expansive garden home has all kinds of nature-based features that inspire imagination, such as mazes, streams, talking trees, and a beaver dam and pool. Then, of course, there’s Rosie’s playhouse, complete with a slide she uses to get outside and all kinds of fun once you step in the door.
Everything’s Rosie reflects the joys of cooperative play and friendship, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t moments of conflict among the characters. Just like in real life, they can be disagreeable and testy with each other, and they often have different ideas and opinions. Happily, though, they learn a lot as they resolve the issues that arise during their adventures, and there’s always something positive for viewers to take from the content.
