Tip #1 Combination of efforts - Do not focus on the arc but rather focus on where the "weld pool" moves towards.
Tip #2 When changing speed or hand position (angle) you must remember that speed is what determines penetration. This Tip is CIRCLED as important to gain weld consistency and penetration.
Tip #3 Follow it at a consistent speed. Do not change position angle unless required. CIRCLED as important to gain stability with practice.
Tip #4 While producing a "Weld", create small continuous movements such forming a weld pattern called a waive or stich this to fill in the cap layer of a weld.
Tip #5 Never use a weld pattern while laying the root pass, CIRCLED due to the first pass requiring the most consistent penetration, without flaws.
Tip #6 You must remind yourself. In order to create a "CWB Qualified weld" you must not have inconsistent quality, so you must be patient and focused.
