As 2024 draws to a close, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey this year has been. It’s been a year of growth, empowerment, and unforgettable milestones, with some truly amazing campaigns that I’ve had the honor of leading?or being part of. From revolutionizing public transport to celebrating women’s contributions to communications and leading a?high-profile book launch that was like no other?for the very first time, 2024 has offered a wealth of experiences and memories.
Unveiling the Meerut Metro Trainsets
2024 marked another milestone in India's infrastructure development with the unveiling of Meerut's Metro Trainsets by National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) . These domestically manufactured trains, a testament to India's growing technological prowess, are designed for a top speed of 135 km/h and operational speed of 120 km/h. The 23 km corridor, equipped with 13 stations, promises to transform commuting in Meerut. The event, held at the modern Duhai Depot, drew over 100 media and industry influencers?to celebrate this significant step forward.
PRISM Awards – Honoring Women in Communications
The PRISM Awards 2024, held on International Women's Day, was a highlight of my year. Conceptualized and executed by PR Professionals under the Public Relations Society, Delhi , Delhi, PRISM celebrated extraordinary women in PR and communications. We honored over 40 leaders from PSUs, government, corporates, journalism, and academia. It was an honor to host trailblazers like IAS officer Sonal Goel, Anuj Dayal Sir from Delhi Metro, RJ Ginnie Mahajan, and Smt. Asha Devi?ji,?Mother of Nirbhaya. The energy at the event was truly infectious, and I walked away feeling even more inspired to continue empowering and uplifting women in every sphere of life.
Namo Bharat Unplugged – Transforming Stations into Vibrant Hubs

One campaign that has become very close to my heart this year is Namo Bharat Unplugged: Live Musical Fridays. The idea behind this initiative was simple yet powerful: transform the Namo Bharat?Stations from mere functional transportation hubs into vibrant, social spaces that enhance the overall commuter experience. By featuring live performances from local artists, college bands, and individuals every Friday at the Ghaziabad RRTS Station, we turned the station into a hub of creativity and connection. It was amazing to witness commuters enjoying impromptu performances, and the initiative provided emerging bands a platform to showcase their music. This campaign demonstrated how even in travel, we can create meaningful, joyful experiences for people. The first edition of Namo Bharat Unplugged successfully hosted 15 musical evenings, transforming Friday nights at Ghaziabad RRTS Station into a lively hub of entertainment and community connection.
A New Era of Football and Learning in Varanasi
Varanasi and football are two things you don’t often hear together, but ROADIS brought these two elements into one frame. ROADIS, in partnership with Fundación Real Madrid ?(Real Madrid Foundation)?and KHUSHII NGO, founded by Kapil Dev, recently launched Social Sports Schools in Varanasi. This initiative aims to empower over 200 schoolchildren (grades 2-8) through the power of football. By providing essential tools, life skills, and nutrition, the program will help these young learners navigate challenges and reach their full potential. Moments like these remind me of the incredible power sports and education have in shaping the future of young minds. Being part of this initiative was both inspiring and humbling.
“Why the Heck Not” – By KP Singh
One of the most nerve-wracking yet rewarding campaigns I worked on this year was the book launch campaign for Mr. KP Singh, Chairman Emeritus of DLF Ltd, a business legend whom I’ve admired for years but never imagined working so closely with. Despite his age, his energy, vision, and sharpness were awe-inspiring. I felt an incredible sense of privilege being able to work alongside him. Over the course of this campaign, I learned invaluable life lessons, many of which I’ll carry with me forever. Perhaps the most inspiring lesson he shared was from his mother’s teachings: “You may be born in a humble background, but always aspire to become big.”
As I look back on these campaigns, I’m filled with pride and joy?for what we’ve been able to achieve in 2024. Each of these projects has been not just about executing tasks but about creating meaningful change—whether through empowering women, transforming public transportation, or shaping young minds through sports. Here’s to many more campaigns that inspire, empower, and change the world!
