By BESPIN Communications and Marketing
MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE-GUNTER ANNEX, AL -- In March 2023, Business and Enterprise Systems Product INovation (BESPIN) Chief Operating Officer (COO), Lt. Col. Tyler Hough, in collaboration with MGMWERX, presented ‘Understanding BESPIN - Who We Are, What We Do and How To Get Involved’ to all interested Business Enterprise Systems (BES) and defense industry.?
Who We Are!?
Lt. Col. Hough started off by giving credit to The Honorable Dr. Will Roper, 13th Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (AT&L) 2018-2021, for creating the BESPIN innovative mobile software center concept within the Department of Defense. Just as it did then, BESPIN continues to innovate, advance, and rapidly transform how the Air Force delivers and uses software to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Airmen. So why BESPIN? Traditional software development just isn’t cutting it! Too much time is spent on non-value add tasks and BESPIN’s secure development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) and user-centered design processes reduces several pain points when delivering at the speed of need. BESPIN specializes in development and deployment of mobile/web apps from ideation to solution. It is the preferred on-ramp to C1 for rapidly driving apps to production under the continuous Authority to Operate (cATO) capability. BESPIN is the essential provider for providing cost effective, user-focused and mission-driven capabilities.?
