Your duty is to merge with the source. Your duty is to become the source. When you are the source of karma, how can you experience karma? When you realize that you are the atman, the Self, and you're all-pervading omnipresence, there's no time and space, where can there be karma when there's only the Self? Do you see what I'm getting at? Only the Self exists! The Self is pure awareness, nirvana, sat-chit-ananda, I-am that I-am. Only that exists, nothing else. There's nothing else, only that! Now what are you identifying with, worldly situations? You're not identifying with the Self. You can't identify with both! You have to become absorbed in the Self. This is your duty! To become absorbed in the Self, totally and completely. Now do you see why very few people can overcome their karma, for most of us do not want to be absorbed in the Self. We want to go on playing games. We think that if we become absorbed in the Self, we'll be lonely, we won't have anything to do, all the fun will be gone, there will be no TV to watch, no music to listen to, no sex, no friends! Where are you coming from that made you believe that? That's not the Self that you're talking about, it's you, it's your idea of what liberation is.

Considering the statement as "All created beings are unmanifest in their beginning, manifest in their interim state, and unmanifest again when annihilated. So what need is there for lamentation?"(Gita,2.28), we will remain to guess about the genesis of the manifest world speculating the exact cause for the development as we witness here and thus the maintenance of a sustainable system will remain to be the immediate goal for us all for the maintenance of life process over here. In this way, the revelations of the statement as "Out of thousands one may endeavour for perfection, and of those who have achieved perfection, hardly one knows Me in truth"(Gita,7.3), and other as "Deluded by the three modes of material nature goodness, passion and ignorance, the individual does not know the self that is situated above the modes and inexhaustible. This material energy of Mine, consisting of the three modes, is dif?cult to overcome. But those who have surrendered unto Me, the higher self, can easily cross beyond it"(Gita,7.13-14), could be seen as the possibility for such a reality would appear for the successes coming in one's life to be based on our endeavours as part of the universal justice system to ensure the individual and society realize all-round success with time and so the saying like "The divine being, master of the city of this body, does not create activities, nor does it induce people to act or does create the fruits of action. All this is enacted by the modes of material nature"(Gita,5.14). The statement " I am the strength of the strong, devoid of passion and desire, I am the desires in life which is not contrary to religious principles, O Arjuna"(Gita,7.11), is worth remembering here for the way of life must be fulfilling the concern of maintenance of the viable system alongside by allowing the individual realize the goals possible in this life. As the verse goes also "One who is regulated in his/her habits of eating, sleeping, recreation and work can mitigate all material pangs by practicing the yoga system"(Gita,6.17), it simply necessitates us to lead a practical way of life to be elevated to the higher states of consciousness gradually in time to be able to delve deeper within the self to the extent possible ever. In this way, the verse "By worship of the Lord, who is the source of all beings and who is all-pervading, through performing his/her own work a person can attain perfection towards realization of the life goal"(Gita,18.46), remains relevant to the discussion successfully, one must know his/her rights and duties well in life and do all accordingly to rejoice in lasting peace and happiness with time.
