- For nearly two years -?since June 2020 - our staff have been back in our libraries, serving our patrons initially?through Outdoor Pickup, enhanced e-Collections, virtual programming and reference services via phone or?email and then through reopening our buildings, striving to offer indoor services that centered?safety for all.?Even when some staff were not in our?buildings, they were working as City of Berkeley Disaster Service Workers or?working remotely on our Library collections, technology, communications or finance teams.?Like you and your loved ones, our staff have gone through many different personal circumstances as the pandemic evolved.
