“My son, if you accept my words and store up my commandments within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding — Indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord.” — Proverbs 2:1–5
Grace and peace to you, my dear followers and viewers, from the Almighty God, who is our father, and His beloved son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
I am yours truly, Minister Michael Rey, who is sent from Christ Jesus by the will of God, to share the good news with His chosen people.
Welcome to “Speak Now Ministries”.
The purpose of “Speak Now Ministries” is to speak the truth and expose ungodly people through biblical principles.”
It is a divine honor and privilege to share with you today the benefits of wisdom and why we should fear God.
First off, let’s discuss why we should fear God.
Proverbs 2:1–5 tells us the secret of fearing God, and it says:
“My son, if you accept my words and store up my commandments within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding — Indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.”
If you want to know why we should fear God, the above scriptures are the answer you are looking for.
Gentlemen of all ages.
For you to fear the Lord and walk in His ways, you first need to study the above scriptures so you can be ready for anything that life throws at you. It can be a group of men who invites you to join them to do evil deeds. A woman who entices you with gifts and a good time that may end up with you either not returning home or planning your death.
You don’t want that to happen to you, right?

If you want to make things right with God and apply his commandments in your heart, here are the benefits of wisdom:
“For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you. Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, — Wisdom will save you also from the adulterous woman, — For the upright will live in the land, and the blameless will remain in it.” — Proverbs 2:10–12, 16, and 21
As for the women of God, don't let any men entice you with sexual desires that are not in a good place. All men are evil, but a few are righteous with a continuous relationship with God. Be alert and not fall to the lust of the flesh. Be patient and the right man that God chooses for you will come.
For right now, study God's word and put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).
The three benefits I gathered from these scriptures that will save men and women from harm and danger are:?Discretion,?Understanding, and?Wisdom.
Without these three benefits of wisdom, you will fall prey to your enemies and God will not rescue you.
So I charge you today, men of God, to apply discretion, understanding, and wisdom in your daily lives. Don’t set yourself up and give in to your fleshly desires. For these such things are but temporary. Vanity is not worth chasing.
Gentlemen, be of good courage and study God’s word to protect yourself from Satan. The world is ready to invite you in with endless temptations. It is up to you to use discretion to know if it’s the right thing to do, use understanding to decide which path to take, and use wisdom to know good and evil.
Remember, evil is all around us and the only way for you to survive in this world is to accept God’s word, store up His commandments, turn your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding.
This concludes my post!
I pray that this post helps you to align yourself with God’s word and utilize the three benefits of wisdom wherever you go.
Thank you for reading!
Stay blessed!
