I couldn’t agree more! The name of the game is to remove as much subjectivity and bias from the Selection process. I love the notion of a co-pilot to be there along the way, and if you throw in structured interview questions, you can find the interrator reliability to ensure bias has not negatively swayed the decision!

Creating an interview process that removes bias is not easy and I would argue impossible. However, interviews based off skills and competencies, then culture tend to lead to slightly unbiased hires, in my opinion.
