The Benefits of Improved Numbers in your Private Practice

I’d like you to take your clinician hat off for a moment and instead put on your business owner hat, as we get ready to delve into the reality of how better numbers in your private practice can serve you, your team and clients in better ways.

But first a warning…

This might be a tad bit uncomfortable and that is ok. Stepping into the discomfort is part of the learning and change process.

You ready….?

Let’s jump in ?

There are two big problems that can occur (and which we of course want to avoid) when you don’t look at the numbers in your practice.

These are:

  • One, you don’t know the REAL state of your business… And no, having cash in the bank does NOT mean it is all hunky-dory.?
  • Two, you won’t see the potential and benefits of getting to that next stage of business development where you get to have a greater impact.?

That’s why today, I want to talk to you about achieving improved numbers and what it can do for your allied health practice.

So let’s answer this question….

'What exactly does having improved numbers really mean for a private practice?'

Let’s starts with having more clients (or if you have an already full client caseload, you could look at what increasing client fees could do).?

  • More clients, mean that you are getting more money (i.e. revenue) into the clinic.??
  • More revenue means you can improve your team wages.?
  • A better paid team in turn leads to higher team retention.
  • Good team retention mean that your practice can maintain a desirable level of consistency in the client services provided.?
  • Good team retention also allows you to cut your recruitment expenses.
  • More revenue also means you can afford better clinician resources. This in turn enables you to provide a better service for your clients.?
  • An improved client service leads to higher client satisfaction and retention.

And this was just looking at one initial metric, being client numbers, and yet it impacts so many other numbers in your business.?

This is why you absolutely must track and analyse numbers in your practice.?

The better the number, the better for you, your team, and your clients.

I know that numbers ain’t sexy, ain’t fun and can be daunting.

So, as always, I’m here to help if you need support in making this move into embracing numbers in you practice.

The best way to reach out to me, is via this short form. Herein I ask you a few quick questions that will allow me to ascertain if and how I can help. You can do that by clicking this link.

Here’s to helping you build a private practice you can’t stop smiling about!
