Benefits of Education and Learning!

Learning is something humans do whenever our eyes are open. Education provides us many benefits. I am going to list few of them.

Education provides us with knowledge about the world. It develops in us a perspective of looking at life. It paves the way for a good career. It helps build character. It leads to enlightenment. It lays the foundation of a stronger nation. Education is not limited to lessons from textbooks. Real education is obtained from the lessons taught by life. It is incredibly important that everyone be educated because it essential to unlocking a person's potential and critical thinking.

Education is crucial to participating in our society, whether it be politically, economically or in day to day interaction. Being able to express yourself opens so many doors.

It leads to career progression Education is important because it equips us with the expertise that is needed in a specific field and it's ought to open doors to brilliant career opportunities.

It builds character That says it all. Education is important as it teaches us the right behavior and good manners, thus making us civilized. It is the basis of culture and civilization. It is instrumental in the development of our values and virtues. 

It Helps a Nation Progress! Though not enlisted as one of the three basic human needs, education is equally important. For the progress of a nation. A country's literate population is its asset. In today's competitive world, it won't be wise to neglect the importance of education for the development of society as a whole. Most countries have realized this. It has led to the development of many government-aided educational programs and government grants to schools and colleges. The motive behind this is fostering education in society. 

Awareness of your rights Education tells you not only about your responsibilities as a citizen but also enlightens you about the rights you can enjoy from the state. Whether they are consumer rights or rights against exploitation from your employer, being aware about what is due to you can help in raising your voice whenever you notice something wrong around you. 

Makes you creative. Education is not only about mugging up facts, learning to read and write. That is literacy. Education goes beyond that as it includes an overall development of an individual. It makes you think out of the box. 

Improve the Confidence. If you are aware of your world and have acquired knowledge about your surroundings, you automatically gain confidence. It helps us build opinions and have points of view on things in life.

People debate over the subject of whether education is the only thing that gives knowledge. Some say education is the process of gaining information about the surrounding world while knowledge is something very different. They are right; But then again, information cannot be converted into knowledge without education. Education makes us capable of interpreting things, among other things. It is not just about lessons in textbooks. It is about the lessons of life. 

One thing I wish I can do is, to provide education for all: no child left behind and change the world for good!!
