Beneath Heavens Silver Skies

Luna smiles from hundreds of miles

Curiosity has captivated the cat

Enjoying the mystic skies

Shimmering fireflies decorate the night

Shadows play 

Dancing away 

Attracted by the light

Sounds of crickets sing out loud

Echoes of their symphonies 

Resound everywhere 

Fading in and out 

With orchestral flair 

Mesmerised the cat listens 

The night air keeping him cool

Poised attentively on his perch 

Entertainment from a grand old stool 

Then in the distance the cat sees 

What he’s been waiting for 

Entranced by the vision before his eyes 

A shooting star flies overhead

Making a wish from his heart 

His intention now set 

With gratitude and an air of mystery 

An evening he won’t forget

Time spent with the one he loves whilst singing 

Along with the chorus line

Enjoying a moonlight concert 

Beneath heavens silver skies xxx
