THE BENCH: MORE!
OK, here it comes and it is a really hard concept to get your career and AAA personality around. MORE! The BENCH DAILY SAYS, DO MORE KEVIN, DO MORE! Most leaders, CEOs, COOs, Founder, President, always are PUSHING to do more, get higher sales, get a better bottom-line, and get more traffic to our site. I always want to learn more, I want to do 10 more push-ups, and beat my last time on the stair master, the concept of MORE, is just a part of the DNA of really great leaders. But, there is a very very dark side to more.
The BENCH has taught me never to be afraid to challenge myself to do more, you never get stronger, and you never have "breakthroughs" unless you do more, BUT the dangerous side is when you do more in a harmful manner or an obsessive more.
I never ever took one drug to help me get stronger or bigger, never. I am one of the few who can say that. Many in the effort to "DO MORE" cheat, they change what and how doing more is achieved, so that eventually will harm them and may kill them. So more by cheating! Not healthy, but another unhealthy more is forgetting what the purpose of YOUR MORE is. More money to buy more cars? Buy a bigger house when you have 3 already, MORE just to be able to boast when with others, this is an unhealthy more.
Weeks ago I wrote about the mirror, when you say, I need more, ask yourself why do you need more of what? The what and the why are key here. If you want more so you can help others, support a cause, do more for your family, etc.
OR, is your more all about an internal need? A need to have more because you are in some way feeling lessor you want others to see you in some different light?

MORE, is when you are in the room and many want to be near you NOT for the MORE MONEY YOU have but for WHO THEY KNOW YOU ARE. I know this is tough, I know many reading this are saying BS, but once you realize the following:
LEADERSHIP is such a challenge as most of us feel compelled to be that unwavering, tough decision maker. This leads to taking the mountain lifting the heaviest weight, driving the fastest most expensive cars and always having a bigger house than the next person, until we suddenly realize, what matters most, and most of that is not on the list. MORE is filling your cup with MORE of what really makes a difference and what truly matters.
WHAT IS YOUR REAL MORE?
