THE BENCH: EXECUTION
This topic is very simple yet in the end, almost no one , at least a very high percent of team members and executives ever understand this. EXECUTION, even in some semi good ideas will win over great ideas with poor or no execution. What you learn over the years and the BENCH is a true reminder of this, saying you want to work out, complaining about being out of shape, and sitting having a drink with a friend talking about how you remember when you could do 10 push ups, what happened? Guess what, it is about taking the talk, taking the idea and actually pushing everyday to implement and execute the idea.
We are humans, and we love the next shiny thing, the next better phone, that new car, the new outfit, the next diet fad, the cool new exercise, why do you think companies like "CURVE" came and went, or suddenly people are going to "Orange Theory",Peleton, pickle ball now and there will be something else in the next 12 to 24 months trust me.
But if you just woke up, went down in your basement and spent 45 minutes stretching, doing good old sit ups and push ups and "EXECUTING" a routine , you would get a result. But sort of boring, sort of not a "shiny new object" but you will get a result of stronger and better health.

What this is , and it is simple, if you want anything to succeed, you have to execute whatever it is. This means, wake up, have the self discipline to do what many days you do not want to do or can find reasons not to do it and still do it. Knowing you will succeed because what you are doing is what 99% of the population just gives up so by being the 1% that just keeps after it gives you a huge upper hand, but in the end, you have to EXECUTE whatever it is you want to succeed at.
No one said this will be fun each day, no one said it will be easy, but YOU have to decide which is better doing it and feeling what the success is like by the results you get or sitting talking about what did not happen, I chose to make it happen and execute, what about you?
