Ben Shapiro interviews Elon Musk at European Jewish Association conference

I noticed this in my feed when I woke up, and wondered how long I'd been asleep for. Because yesterday, Elon Musk definitely wasn't Jewish. But today he's calling himself "Jewish by Association" because his parents put him in Jewish schools, and most of his friends are Jewish.

Here's the good part where he says he's Jew-ish - which is pretty funny. (I tried to find it on an unbiased X account and saw that dozens of anti-Israel accounts posted it ....)

My Commentary

Until the war, the trend was completely the opposite - more and more Jews had been distancing themselves from being Jewish. They were trying to blend in by hiding any signs of being Jewish.

But all that blew up in their faces when Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, and inspired - or should I say activated - these so-called Pro-Palestinians all over the world to protest.

Most of them don't even know what they're protesting about - as Noa Tishby keeps highlighting.

All this brought anti-Semitism to be a main topic of discussion everywhere.

So now we're seeing how the amazing spirit of unity that suddenly emerged in Israel is impacting everyone in a good way.

I mean here we have Elon Musk - now the owner of X (Twitter) and a person with so much influence in the world in so many sectors - going out of his way to support the Jews and Israel. Speaking on the world stage about his strong Jewish roots growing up and how many of the people close to him are Jewish - even though he's not Jewish.

Look how the spirit of unity makes things look disproportionate.

So we need to begin understanding how powerful it is when we're united, and I really hope we'll be able to maintain it after the war. We'll see good results from this everywhere - especially for the Jews around the world. It's very important what happens with them because whatever is going on here in Israel - it's their job to use all their influence to spread it further.

Now we're seeing the Jews abroad behave the exact opposite to before - they're standing in the middle of the street shouting their hearts out - "I'm Jewish! I'm Jewish." Because they're starting to realize now that trying to blend in is a very bad and dangerous strategy for them.

No one wants the Jews to blend in - they want us to continue doing all the amazing things we do. And we can only keep doing that by recognizing our true essence, which is all about positive human connection - just like we're seeing happen between these two mega personalities.
