I really appreciate the team dynamics at Quattro. A collaborative and practical approach fosters great teamwork. It's invigorating to work on a diverse range of tasks, allowing us to tackle projects at various stages and of various sizes, ensuring that every day brings something new and exciting. We are then able to translate that excitement and enthusiasm into amazing projects for our clients.?

What does the company do best?

One of the things Quattro really excels at is cultivating a positive culture, where everyone takes responsibility for their own projects. We are trained and trusted to take ownership and deliver great results for our clients. What sets our management team apart from some others is their approachability and friendliness. This allows us to discuss any technical or design queries with hugely experienced members of senior leadership team in a relaxed and informative manner.?

The company talks a lot about collaboration - how do you ensure you work collaboratively with your clients?

To encourage collaboration with our clients, I believe in engaging them actively in the design process. By involving them in decision-making and presenting thought-provoking ideas and concepts, we grab their attention and encourage their participation. Accessibility is key, and I make it a priority to be approachable, ensuring regular catchups and updates to establish positive and meaningful relationships.

What sparked your interest in architecture?

From my early years in school and sixth form, I discovered a passion for product design, fine art, and construction. This multidisciplinary blend fascinated me and fueled my interest in pursuing a career in architecture. It allows me to combine my love for both a hands-on and a technical approach, creating spaces that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing and striking.

What does sustainability mean to you, and why is it important?

The construction industry is a significant contributor to carbon emissions, and it is crucial that we address this issue, as an architectural designer it is our moral responsibility to be environmentally conscious in our designs. I take pride in working for a practice that is dedicated to reducing emissions generated within the built environment by incorporating sustainable practices, whereby these projects are not only beautiful but environmentally responsible too.

What's the most creative project you've worked on so far?

One of the most creatively fulfilling projects I've had the opportunity to work on involved my involvement in designing the new Taunton Ophthalmology Clinic; a clinical environment that seamlessly blends aesthetics, functionality, and comfort to promote positivity. The challenge was to create a space that not only catered to the practical needs of the facility but also provided a welcoming and soothing atmosphere. It allowed me to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions to achieve a harmonious balance between clinical requirements and a visually appealing ambiance.
