Limited edition Apfelwein-Spritzer for champions

Birkenau, September 2024. It's probably the most punchy cider can ever made: In collaboration with mixed martial arts athlete Christian Eckerlin, BEMBEL-WITH-CARE are releasing the new limited edition can “Champ-Edition”.

At first glance, mixed martial arts and cider may seem to have little in common. And yet this cooperation fits like a glove: BEMBEL-WITH-CARE, Germany's best-known cider, stands for 100% made in the Odenwald. Christian Eckerlin, Germany's best-known MMA fighter, was born in the Odenwald and still feels connected to cider in Frankfurt, his adopted home. A few months ago, they came up with the idea of an exclusive 0.5-liter cider can filled with Eckerlin's favorite type of cider spritzer.

The “Champ Edition” combines tradition with a modern sporting spirit and emphasizes the common origin. “The fact that our Odenwald cider so popular in Frankfurt makes me proud,” explains Christian Eckerlin. “I have the greatest respect for what BEMBEL-WITH-CARE has created and am delighted about our joint can. I consider it a privilege to be featured on a Bembel can.” The cans with Eckerlin's stylized portrait on one side, and the striking logo of BEMBEL-WITH-CARE on the other, are limited to 20,000 pieces. There is also a matching T-shirt. The best use for the latter? “This week, on 12.10.24, Eckerlin will be fighting for the title of “King of Germany” in front of 60,000 spectators at the Eintracht Stadium in Frankfurt,” explains BEMBEL-WITH-CARE CEO Karsten Schwinn. “It will be clear who our favorite is.”

The cans can be purchased exclusively in the BEMBEL-WITH-CARE online store at www.shop.bembel-with-care.com from September 22. Cider and MMA fans can choose between two practical bundles: 5 cans in a care package with a matching multifunctional scarf and one of three exclusive Eckerlin autograph cards, or the 24-can tray with an exclusive T-shirt and autograph card.
