Belterra Park's Architectural Canopies Enhance Cincinnati

Belterra Park, a premier entertainment destination in Cincinnati, Ohio, added a series of stunning architectural canopies in 2014 that not only enhance the venue’s aesthetic appeal but also provide practical benefits for its visitors. Birdair completed two significant projects at Belterra Park, enhancing the venue with striking PTFE fiberglass membrane canopy systems. These canopies, featuring an elegant Birdair PTFE membrane roof, seamlessly blend form and function, providing both shelter and aesthetic appeal to visitors. The PTFE membrane, renowned for its exceptional durability and translucency, creates an open atmosphere while shielding spectators from the elements. This advanced material allows natural light to filter through, casting a warm and inviting ambiance.

The Belterra Park Grandstand Canopies stand to the union of modern design and engineering, offering a captivating experience for those gathered beneath them. Shortly after the grandstand project, additional bus and walkway canopies were added at the Belterra Park Race Track. The entryway and bus canopy system contains three sets of canopies, covering approximately 7,900 square feet. These canopies, also featuring PTFE membranes, provide a signature look for patrons arriving at the race track.

The canopies at Belterra Park are a striking visual feature, blending seamlessly with the venue’s overall design. Utilizing advanced materials and construction techniques, the structures offer a sleek, contemporary look that complements the park's vibrant atmosphere. The fluid lines and elegant curves of the canopies create a sense of movement, echoing the dynamic energy of the park itself.

The canopies are also a model of sustainable design. Constructed with environmentally friendly materials and designed to maximize energy efficiency, they reflect Belterra Park’s commitment to sustainability. The canopies incorporate advanced shading techniques that help regulate temperature, reducing the need for artificial cooling and thereby lowering the venue's overall energy consumption.
