?What does it mean to belong???

I want you to think about a place or a group where you feel like you belong.??

  • It could be your hometown and you feel it as soon as you see the welcome sign at its border.??
  • It could be a friend group and you feel it as soon as you embrace them at dinner.??
  • It could be your family and you feel it each time you walk through your door.?

Do you have a place in mind? Now, what about that place or that group makes you feel like you belong???

  • Do you feel like you can be yourself???
  • Do you feel safe???
  • Do you feel connected??

My guess is you answered YES to all of those questions.??

And while work may never be the top place you feel belonging, you can feel like you can be yourself, like you're safe, and like you're connected to your work and your team.?

But what if this doesn't happen organically and what if we actually have to work to create a space like this???

That's when we need a Belonging Blueprint - a tested method for creating connection among your teams.

By the time we reach adulthood, we'll spend the majority of the rest of our lives working. As leaders, we have the opportunity to give our teams purpose, connection, and belonging which leads to fulfillment in life. Work isn't everything, but it sure is a lot of the life we live! Heather Burright
