Belmond’s Venice Simplon-Orient-Express Will Host a Great Gatsby Themed Party

Move over Jay Gatsby! Check out the iconic Venice Simplon-Orient-Express next spring of 2020 for a fun-filled “Party on the Orient Express” depicting the roaring 1920s. Guests who board will enjoy a two-night package that takes them through Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and France (along with the Alps).

Scheduled for March 27–29, 2020, the event starts with a night at the Belmond Hotel Cipriani in Venice with a speakeasy party. The following day, guests will board the famed train to London for a jazz-filled experience that will evoke the Golden Age of glamour.

Guests will be dressed in flapper dresses and spats and will celebrate the train’s carriages, all of which are from the 1920s. Expect plenty of surprises including impromptu performances and entertainment both on and off the train.

Costs for “The Party” start at approximately $4,845 per person, which includes a one-night stay at Belmond Hotel Cipriani in a Garden View Room, the celebratory party, a stay in a twin cabin on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, and all drinks, table d’hote meals and entertainment aboard the train.
