Friends, as part of my coaching activities, I have spoken with many folks over the past few weeks who unfortunately lost their jobs due to various reasons and while some were very positive to accept and move on, some still were stuck in "why me", "I was such a loved employee" & "my life is doomed" kind of thought process. After listening to them, I decided to pen down my perspective and if this helps even one person to move on in their life, then I am sure this would be worth the effort.
First of all, this change could be genuinely very hard to accept from all dimensions, so full sympathy to all those (and best wishes for landing in new job soon) but let us also appreciate that this is not a "Game over, Life over" situation. This is a signal that one chapter of your life is over and it is time for you to get into a new better & more exciting chapter in your life. It is a "comma" and DEFINITELY "NOT a full stop". Yes, in the short term, our lifestyle, liabilities, EMIs, commitments may make us nervous about paying those bills but stay assured, as long as you continue to take inspired actions to move forward in your life, Divine has everything designed and figured out for you.?
If you are the one who is - cribbing about the situation, cursing your org and hysterically calling your friends, previous bosses for next job then trust me this is not a great usage of what otherwise could be a very productive period to "create a new Better You". This cribbing is not going to get you (re)hired so why waste time in looking back while tons of potential opportunities are in front for you to tap into.
There are various things you can do to make the best out of this period that you would be proud of when this gets over.?

What you should NOT do -
Friends, at the end of the day, when you go to bed, spend few minutes analyzing your whole day and if you feel, you are better off today than what you were yesterday then pat on your back and feel proud of yourself...continue pursuing this....
No situation is permanent in this world, after a dark night, bright day has to come. Bad days will not last...Brighter Sun will come out again next day with newer hopes and as long as you have the honesty to learn from your current situation, have the passion to learn something new and have hunger to fight back, nothing is over.
Stay blessed, Stay positive, Stay motivated....Keep trusting that everything happens for a great reason and a wonderfully beautiful life is waiting for a "Better You".?
What do you all feel? Thoughts / Comments are welcome.
