Believe U:Me

We recently launched a bright new website for U:ME, a range of speciality cooking oils, working with our friends at Brandon, who developed the brand.

U:ME was developed in response to a growing demand for speciality oils. 72% of of us cook at home daily, with one British cook in two spending more than 30 minutes preparing a meal. However, there was a clear gap in the market for educating consumers by de-mystifying the purpose and usage of various oils and creating honest, no nonsense short cuts on the best way to use them.

As a brand, U:ME brings a lot of personality and fun to the table, with a bright colour palate and some lovely, complementary food photography.

The website also aims to educate consumers by showing the benefits and usages of the products through inspiring recipes and inspirational, approachable content.

The U:ME range will initially include Sun-Olive, Coconut and Organic Rapeseed variants with other variants to follow and will start rolling out in major retailers.

“I needed a website designing from scratch for a new oils brand, U:ME to showcase the brand, products and recipes with the added functionality to adapt as the brand content expands.

The main concern before working with tda! was keeping a consistent brand look and feel whilst working across multiple design and creative agencies. tda! worked openly and collaboratively, putting the design element at the forefront of the creation to create a branded website that surpasses the expectations of the brief.

I particularly liked how they challenged the brief, questioned the detail, pre-agreed specific approval requirements and then simply got on with delivering it. To see great ownership and pride from each member of the team at the regular updates gave me great confidence in their approach, so much so that I am working with them further on further digital marketing projects.

Following on from the website launch, tda! will be working with agency partners to develop an exciting communications campaign on social media, amongst other channels, to support the brand launch.
