My reflection on September 21st 2020, as we commemorate World Gratitude Day
First, I offer my GRATITUDE to God- my creator for the breath of life (In Him I live and move and have my being). I am also grateful to my family, my company (for the opportunities), my managers and wonderful colleagues for their support along the way.

IN 2015, due to massive oil price cut and dwindling business, I was given a demobilization letter but was reinstated after a few days (story for another day). In that situation, I learnt to be still in the midst of many activities. The following year 2016, I won a superstar award for excellence in construction and SIMOPS coordination, but was unable to attend the award ceremony.
Fast forward to year 2020,by the grace of God and the support of all, I won the 2019 superstar award for continuous hard work.
This time, I had the opportunity to attend the event and received my award!
Lesson learnt- Always make a total effort, even when the odds are against you, because hard work spotlights the character of people, you will find out that the harder you work the more you live your life.
