Are you result-oriented? How do you define the success of a process? Do you want to know the magical formula for success? How do you ensure success at an aggregate level?
Do you know yourself? Sometimes I meet people and look at their CV/resume only to realize that the personality traits mentioned are all false. People claim punctuality but arrive late for interviews. They boast of being perfectionists but fail to keep documents organized. They mention practicing meditation daily to manage anger but can't elaborate on their practice. This leads me to believe that most interviewees write fake points in their CV/resume. In reality, people do not know their true selves or nature. They just Google standard questions and answers or make CVs through AI tools, defeating the purpose of knowing their own identity and showcasing their true selves. Recently, I have realized the importance of Vedic career astrology and personality checks. It is not a myth but an ancient science based on proven principles and methodology. It may be that authentic astrology practitioners are few in this world, but the science itself is not flawed.
How can it help you in your career or personal life? It gives you an idea about your nature, vulnerabilities, likings, and situations that can affect you negatively. It is like a pitch report and weather conditions if you are playing cricket. What is in your hand? Only your response and way of tackling the situation. How do you play a particular over? When to strike a six? When to defend and practice patience to stay at the pitch for a long time? All these can be considered part of the science of astrology. If you know the unknown, you will be better equipped to handle it. If you don't know, you cannot complain about the situation. Hence, I always tell people to utilize the concept of astrology to navigate the uncertainties of life. It can help you decide your career options, timing, natural abilities, and talents. In a nutshell, you will be able to make your CV better and feel content doing what you like.
If you want to execute the tasks allotted to you, what do you need to ensure? I would say two things are most important:
1. Follow the Principle of Dharma
There are four steps of life that can guide you on the path of uncertainty. Believe in the principle of Dharma, which is your duty as per your ability, nature, training, and inclination. If you are a soldier, your Dharma is to fight against the enemy and safeguard the nation's borders. If you are a teacher, your duty is to teach selflessly and live simply without expecting more than your needs. If you are a businessman, your duty is to conduct business rightfully and donate for the betterment of society. If you follow astrology and discover your qualities or nature, you can get training in that field and choose your career accordingly. This process will give you a sense of your Dharma or duty.
2. Be Result-Oriented, But Do Not Get Attached to the Results
The life manual, Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, provides an amazing principle: perform your karma in line with Dharma (duty) but do not get attached to the results. Do your best and leave the rest to God. Why God? Because favorable or unfavorable results are not in our hands. We can only put in our best efforts, and according to these efforts, destiny is decided. In a way, we are the creators of our own destiny, but we do not know how destiny will unfold. Various factors like time, intensity, intention, place, circumstances, and others play a role in defining our destiny. God is like a judge who decides the fate of our case. Hence, it is best to focus on our work with the aim of achieving results/goals. This ensures that we move in the right direction and give our best.
It may be possible that even after working hard to achieve a particular goal, you may not succeed. Before considering success at an aggregate level, the people involved in the process may influence the outcome. It is like playing cricket in a team where you do your best but the team fails collectively. Therefore, while focusing on the goal, the process matters. How you perform your duty, with what intention and intensity, can affect the final outcome. The beauty of this principle is that sometimes people win by losing and lose by winning. For example, a person who donates food to the needy seemingly loses food but wins through charity. Similarly, if you win a cricket match by deceitfully injuring an opponent, the final outcome is that the person who hurt another will not find peace, bearing the guilt of wrongdoing.
The Magical Formula
Shrimad Bhagavad Gita explains the entire concept of this material world. Why are we here? What are the things on the menu in this world? How do we experience pain and pleasure? What should be the outcome for particular desires? What is the ultimate way out? How do we achieve the goal of life?
