Time is a gift. I've learned in my twenty years' experience I've ((thankfully)) gained confidence, some patience and much needed humility. What a beautiful return.
Believing in yourself and committing to your success is with an awareness of your boundaries and being comfortable with vulnerability. This allows us to challenge ourselves in ways our younger self simply wouldn't dream of.
For me, I never believed I was a "runner" and dismissed every reason or idea I could become one. Granted, I've only recently completed my first 5K but with this came obstacles which were largely mental roadblocks, not physical ones.
Last Sunday, hundreds of selfless community members chose to participate in the annual race supporting the Annapolis Light House. Making this personal commitment wasn't what mattered most at all. But rather, running to find ways to support those who require aide by way of food, shelter and love.
Over the past twelve months, people are leaving their jobs in search of more. More money, more flexibility and above all -- more happiness. This is a societal change.

We are rethinking what work means, how we're valued, and how we spend our time. We've seen widespread change in the workforce and it's not stopping anytime soon.
