Belgrade’s signature waterfront development for the first time in London Learn more about Belgrade Waterfront, visit us at Harrods

Situated at the geographical line between East and West, at the border of the European Union, at the area where various traditions and cultures meet, Serbia has always been striving to be the country which would symbolically erase these borders. That is why our country is usually called The Gate of Europe.

Economic and political circumstances have drastically changed since the beginning of this century. Facing the prejudices was not an easy task. The laws of modern market have been followed by the changes within the country. Still, the hospitality remains the unavoidable principle and inseparable part of Serbian tradition. Nowadays, this tradition is reflected in the ambience the country provides to investors.

Foreign investment value of 26 billion EUR since 2000 is the best indicator of the traditional Serbian hospitality. The number of new jobs in relation to the general population has positioned our country as one of leading investment destinations in the world.

Knowledge of English, highly qualified manpower, competitive tax rates and low operational expenses have become the brand of Serbian economy during last decade. Many renowned companies from the whole world have recognized this. For some of them, Serbia is the production hub which offers the possibility of duty-free export to the market of nearly one billion potential buyers. Two important European corridors – VII – Danube River and X – International highway and railroad, intersect at Serbian territory, thus providing excellent connections with Western Europe and Middle East.

Due to accelerated economic growth, Serbia is also becoming the attractive touristic destination. Aside from the globally known natural and architectural monuments, some of which are registered on the UNESCO List of World Heritage Sites, Serbian touristic potentials also promote new, dynamic trends. One of the largest projects is Belgrade Waterfront, spanning one million square metres at the right bank of Sava River, in the heart of Belgrade. The complex which changes the face of Serbian capital will be a home for more than 14,000 people, will create 20,000 jobs and will stimulate the economic growth of the country.

Belgrade Waterfront will be presented at the event in Harrods, Level 4, on Wednesday, September 21st, 2016, from 6 to 8 PM. If you are interested to learn more about this spectacular new hub and amenities it offer both to residents and investors, please contact [email protected], since the number of invitees is limited.

We firmly believe that everyone who choses Serbia as an investment or touristic destinations, will meet a dynamic country which offers much more opportunities than it is obvious at the first glance. We are waiting for you to come and see by yourself.
