Beirut Duty Free (BDF) had went full throttle in celebrating the International Women Day on the 8th of March 2022, which shines a deserved spotlight on the inspirational women that lead, inspire, motivate and encourage their colleagues.
The Duty-Free Shop had published an animated video on its huge digital screen in departures live featuring its female personnel, as well as many posts on their social media platforms. The campaign had also been highlighted by Aer Rianta International on The Moodie Davitt Report.
The “She Who” campaign had highlighted 15 women from all departments, positions and ages, where it encouraged all colleagues at BDF to send through their nominations and short stories of female colleagues who deserve to be emphasized. General Manger Adrian Bradshaw at Beirut Duty Free said: “International Women’s Day primary goal is to create a gender-equal world, it’s about celebrating a woman’s success and raising awareness against bias and therefore we are trying to celebrate the tremendous efforts by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future.”
Mr. Adrian had also added: “I’m sure we have many more women, whom we could add to the list…. but I believe what we do this year with International Women Day is a start to how we communicate and tackle Diversity and Inclusion going forward in our business.”
