Being still – a midweek Pause for Peace
Sometimes it’s easier to be doing…
To have a sense of purposeful action, making a difference in the face of relentless violence and conflict.
Yet pausing to be still invites us into a more profound encounter with what is happening in our world.
And it changes us.
STILL PEACE
Be still.
Don’t look away,
finding distraction
a relief.
Be still,
be here now
carrying peace
with you.
Be still
and listen,
listen to your
heartbeat.
Here, now,
in this place,
be still.
