Recent incident I noticed that, wherever I book Ola/Uber or food online, the person always goes to the street two roads behind my house and I must walk all the way to get the cab or food. I asked the Cab drive or the delivery person” Why you always coming to the wrong location”, sometimes the Delivery person would ask me” Sir Please use the correct location-Your Map is showing incorrect location” like that.
I never doubted technology, and thought it was me or the cab driver who is wrong.
One fine day, I myself came to my Home location using my friends Google Map and No wonder it routed me to same incorrect place behind my Home.
Then I investigated Google Maps and Found that, Google Maps was showing Wrong location information all these years.
I wrote my suggestion and provided my findings on the error in Google Maps,
Soon after some weeks we had a visitor in our streets” Yeah its the Google Maps Car came down for review and google maps published the correction in Google Maps.
I realized contributing to the society doesn’t only change the history but can also change the geography.
Do search for opportunities where you can contribute more. Wherever required. Be it in home, worship places, office, out of street etc.
A small contribution can change the history geography and, future too
‘Not by business’ is like a rock in the middle of road. Our wheels may hit one day.
Read this in a book about Madam Indira Gandhi
“Indira Gandhi not only changed history she changed geography too”
Another Opposition leader declared in Parliament: “Madam, you have created not only history but a new geography as well.” After the war Indira Gandhi acted with great magnanimity at the Shimla Conference. She put India on the international scientific map by exploding the country’s first underground nuclear device at Pokhran in 1974. This signalled India’s nuclear potential and its unwillingness to abide by the nuclear rules of the superpowers.
