In today’s Rapid Fire Wednesday, we discussed putting yourself into a level of consciousness where you can be an observer and a participant at the same time. This requires you to heal pain and shed layers.?
In so many situations, I realized that I was blind to how I was navigating in the world. I would have my own view through my own lens until I learned later that others had different experiences. It was an opportunity to grow.?
Often I would get into an intentional reflection practice and look back at the things I’d done. This would be my evaluation process to learn lessons and raise awareness. I would say, “What are the lessons I can extract so that I can be intentional moving forward?”
This helps us see things in perspective moving forward, understanding our internal voice and filtering and refining external noise. Being the observer and participant real time allows you to connect at a level that allows strong relationships to exist.
Question asked: What can you do if your truth is offensive to others??
I would hope your truth is just how you saw things. If you are offending someone, it’s time to reflect on what you said, what energy it was delivered with, and put yourself into a situation where you take extreme ownership; take ownership for offending them and see if there was anything we could have done to present our truth without offending them. Sometimes things are taken the wrong way because of our own blind spots or someone else’s. We could say something with exactly neutral energy but it still may not be received and that is because of their own behavioral patterns and environmental conditioning. It’s not about your truth. It’s about how it’s delivered or how it’s received. Is your truth confining others? Often this is just a misunderstanding as long as you can use your truth as fact and objective based.?
Question asked: What entrepreneur/personal relationship has shifted your level of thinking the most?
My friend and fellow entrepreneur, George Bryant, has shifted my level of thinking greatly. He has shifted the way I view customer journeys so that I can see how systems work FOR you and do not take away authentic connection with people and how they are truly a way to leverage and scale. He is a dear friend and I appreciate how he puts words into the world. It always challenges my outlooks.

The most influential personal relationship is my son. He is very similar to me and he triggers me the most. By him being himself authentically it has helped me to see myself differently and how I want to interact with the world.
Question asked: How do you tap into your unconscious mind? Do you have any practices that have helped you become more aware of your conscious or unconscious mind?
Being present. Road cycling. Flow state. This helps me tap into my unconscious mind so that I can receive downloads from the universe. I’ve had a meditation and consciousness coach for 2 years. There is meditation, consciousness, and concentration. I’ve used breathwork and visualization as well as sensory deprivation states in order to tap into my unconscious mind at the highest level. When I can get quiet enough, I often have an out of body experience that gives me total clarity. It may sound esoteric but it is incredibly helpful for me.?
Also, when I have a heightened fight or flight state, I find ways to calm my nervous system so that I can be open to receiving messages and seeing myself more clearly. Things like infrared saunas, cold plunges… You can put yourself in an awake dream state. It allows you to see yourself more clearly. Our minds process 11 million bits of information per second, we are only aware of about 40. It takes effort and focus. We want to help everyone realize that the things we have access to in our own minds are life changing, it just takes awareness.
Question asked: Is love the most powerful force in the universe?
Love can shine more light into the world than any area of darkness can keep out. It allows us to connect at the deepest levels… to be seen, understood and connected. Love starts inside of you. When we start to distribute it, it’s incredible how it helps others propel their lives and grow. It IS the most powerful force. So ask yourself, “Do you love yourself?” If not, then what is the work required to get you deeply connected with who you are at your core so that you can be unmoved by outside circumstances or noise? If you love yourself first, an unlimited amount of love can flow through you into the world.?
