Being a multi 6 figure VP for a global brand doesn’t instantly make someone the best Career Confidence Coach

Being a multi 6 figure VP for a global brand doesn’t instantly make someone the best Career Confidence Coach

Not for the clients I work with anyway. Here’s why….

There are a few major things my clients have in common, see if you relate:

  1. You have been pushing and grinding and doing everything in your power to get promoted or up-level their career but still you are stuck where you are.
  2. You really care what other people think about you.
  3. You have a relentless inner critic.
  4. You adapt who you are to avoid others judging you.
  5. You think you don’t fit in or you are different to everyone else or there is something wrong with you.

Because of this, you unwittingly try to control what other people think of you. Often this involves pursuing high status, prestigious, impressive job roles. Because subconsciously you think, if I can just get this job, everyone will love me and then I will be happy.

Deep down, you know you are destined for more. You have a deep longing inside to feel accepted and loved and you think you will get this from being wildly successful in your career. Which means you are aiming for that promotion or pay rise for all the wrong reasons.

This often stems from some sort of childhood trauma. Doesn’t need to be a big trauma, it just needs to be something that made you feel unsafe at the time. You become a different person so that you can survive which embeds the behaviour that you must adapt who you are to feel safe. You unconsciously carry this into the workplace and it stops you from growing into your full potential.

The “actual” reason you are stuck in your career is an emotional problem buried in your subconscious. But because it’s subconscious you aren’t always aware of it and try to fix the problem with rational thoughts instead.

Your rational mind looks at these uber successful ladies that have made it into VP roles, working for major household names and think, ‘that’s what I need, if I can learn from the best, then I just know I’ll be happy.’

You will absolutely throw yourself into the coaching, do all the right things, copy everything to the T and you will either:

  1. Smash it and get that coveted role you are after. After the initial excitement, the familiar feelings of not being good enough, not fitting in, feeling like there is something missing, wondering how you can fix yourself will return. You will start hunting out the next thing outside of you to try and fix the empty feeling inside.
  2. You stay stuck as you are and blame yourself for being useless and not good enough, strengthening that inner critic and trapping yourself even further.

If there’s an underlying trauma that needs looking at (and I’m not talking about months and years of therapy either), you will always hit a glass ceiling at some point.

Mindset tools, counselling, career action plans, updating your CV, executive presence, updating your LinkedIn profile will ONLY work if you don’t have baggage from your past.

That’s why self help books; leadership training and manuals; tapping; coping strategies; exercise; communication exercises; fake it until you make it WILL NEVER WORK FOR YOU.

If you don’t care what other people think about you, you don’t have an empty feeling inside, you don’t yearn for approval and acceptance – go and take that course with the mega successful corporate coach. It’s EXACTLY for you.

But, if you want to peel back the layers and get right to the root cause of why you’ve hit a career plateau and VERY QUICKLY reprogram your subconscious for exponential career growth – than I’m your gal.

I did have a Corporate career and I was pretty successful, I never hit VP or earnt 6 figures though – just to be honest! I haven’t got a degree either (too busy having an actual nervous breakdown).

But I have had a lot of trauma in my childhood that has held me back BIG TIME. I’ve battled through crippling social anxiety, low self-esteem, people-pleasing, self-doubt, impostor syndrome, a fear of confrontations and a million more insecurities to become the unstoppable powerhouse I am today. And I’m passionate, I mean really bloody passionate about supporting women to overcome adversity, love themselves unconditionally and absolutely blow the doors off their career.

Getting to the bottom of the limiting beliefs and sabotage patterns created by your childhood trauma and reprograming them is much quicker and easier than you can even imagine.

You don’t have to re-live the trauma, like in counselling and you don’t have to force yourself to behave in ways that make you feel unsafe (i.e saying no to your manager; being your true authentic self; asking for what you want; communicating your needs or disagreeing with someone).

AND once they are re-programmed, you naturally become that up-leveled leader that you have been aspiring to. However, you will probably have completely different dreams and aspirations because you’ll be operating from your true self, rather than making decisions based on how to make sure other people don’t judge you.

That is what I’m an expert in. Do you relate to this? Are you ready to untangle that trauma and transform into the infinitely successful person with limitless potential that you were always mean to be?

Hit up my DMs, I’m eager to help you transform (I live for it!) My doors are open now for my February intake of 1-1 clients. I only have 4 spots available and I love working with fast action takers - so, I have a great offer on right now. If you book your coaching sessions before 16th February, you’ll get a £500 discount off the usual price of £2000 (for my 8 – 10 week program).
